The University of Lodz (ULO) is one of the largest HEIs in Poland. Founded in 1945 it currently employs over 2500 teaching staff (inc. over 1200 Ph.D.). Research and teaching is carried out at 12 Faculties and inter-faculty, interdisciplinary research institutes. International Cooperation has a high priority at ULO, which has collaborated with 91 HEIs in 26 countries. ULO has participated in a number of international programmes including: LLP, Tempus, Mundus, Framework Programmes, SOCRATES Thematic Network, INCOCOPERNICUS, ACE, Jean Monnet, CEEPUS.

Faculty of Management (FoM) works closely with entrepreneurs and business environment institutions. Team of FoM’s employees has approx. 20 years of experience in training staff in entrepreneurship as well as consulting and managing development of SMEs. A number of research and international projects on entrepreneurship has been implemented in recent years with the contribution of FoM’s researchers.
